How to use & care

  1. Using the CATIGA CD-2786-12 is straightforward. Simply press the ON/AC button to power it on. For basic calculations, input your numbers and operations as you would on any standard calculator.

The large display provides instant feedback, making it easy to track your input and results. The C/CE button allows you to clear the last entry or the entire calculation, providing flexibility during use. For memory functions, M+ adds the current display value to memory, M- subtracts it, and MRC recalls the memory total or clears it if pressed twice.

  2. To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CATIGA CD-2786-12, a few simple care tips are recommended. Keep the calculator away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can affect the LCD display and internal components. Clean the surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which could damage the casing or screen. If the display dims, ensure it’s exposed to sufficient light for solar charging or consider replacing the battery.

  3. Store the calculator in a safe place where it won’t be exposed to spills or heavy impacts. While designed for durability, proper care will extend its lifespan and maintain its aesthetic appeal. The dual power system means you rarely need to worry about power, but understanding how it switches between solar and battery can help you maximize its efficiency.
