About People’s Department Store

A department store does not translate to a website all at once. We started with the section people phone ahead about: every August and January, parents come in with a syllabus sheet and a model number written on it. Getting that department online, with the exact model designations spelled out, was worth more than a thin listing of everything.

A TI-30X IIS is not a TI-30Xa, and an exam board that permits one may not permit the other. Every listing here names the exact model, the digit count of the display, and whether it runs on solar, battery or both. Where a model comes in more than one colour or in a teacher multi-pack, that is stated in the title rather than hidden in an option box.

The rest of the store — household goods, stationery, seasonal lines — is still served in person at 1921 Westchester Avenue. We are adding departments as we photograph and specify them properly, not by bulk-importing a supplier list.
